The Result

The dinner was fab...everything went much better then expected. I hadn't made all of the dishes before so I knew it was going to be a challenge, but the result made all the preparations worth it!!! I made my first fondant cake, or rather a Red Velvet Cake with fondant cover. Here are some pictures from the dishes on my menu, minus the Pear salad -  I was so hungry that I forgot to use the camera before I started eating..

Roasted rack of lamb with sweet potato puree & sauteed oyster mushrooms
White chocolate pannacotta with raspberry coulis & macaron with raspberry ganache
Red Velvet Cake with pink fondant & white roses
